Call for applications – closing date 10 May 2024
Read more for details of two exciting internship opportunities being offered to ESRC-funded students by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF). EEF is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and education achievement.
There are two opportunities available
- one in the Synthesis Team working with, and supported by, existing Research Managers to conduct systematic reviews and internal research projects on relevant education topics;
- and the other, working with the Evaluation Team to commission high-quality evaluations of education programmes linked to EEF’s strategic priorities.
The application deadlines are 10 May 2024 and details on how to apply can be found within the linked documents below.
Financial support
As part of the WRDTP’s Company Internship Scheme, full-time students in receipt of a maintenance grant will receive a funded extension to their award covering the length of the internship (from 1 to 3 months) and up to a maximum of £1,000 per month for travel and accommodation expenses (part-time students will receive this on a pro rata basis).
Students will continue to be paid their maintenance grant (and any Advanced Quantitative Methods enhanced stipend).
Closing date
As the closing date for the internship sits outside of the agreed call deadline of 26 April 2024, we will still accept applications for these roles after this date – up to the 10th May 2024.
